...See more Hello, first off I want to say sorry for my poor English it's not my first language. I have a friend we've been friends for almost 8 years now and for the past year I've been thinking about our friendship. I feel like the only reason we're friends now is because of our mental illnesses and how similar our lives are. We both suffer from social and general anxiety and depression. Because of our mental illnesses we need someone to talk to and we turn to each other for for support/someone to talk too. However she's not very good with words or her emotions and so because of that I feel like I'm giving her so much support but when it comes down to me needing someone to talk too she can't help me. We've talked about this before and she said she really does care for me but I have this gut feeling like intuition that sometimes she really doesn't care about my feelings and what I want to talk about. I feel like I'm having a one sided relationship and I'm being used. Whenever we hang out/see each other in person something doesn't feel right to me. We're awkward when we see each other in person and sometimes we barely talk to each other when we do hang out. Sure we do have fun and laugh at times but still something doesn't feel right to me. It feel like to me this isn't what a friendship should be like.
