...See more This may not make sense but here it goes. I have a career that I've always wanted. My current company hired me because they needed someone with a certificate that I hold. This company is growing fast and trying to get enough people to fill the roles required to stay compliant is difficult. Now with that said, I don't feel I am qualified, or know as much as I should to be "needed" in my current position. So many others have come on after me and I feel they are more qualified. I sometimes ask my hire ups if I'm doing OK in my role and they say yeah you're doing great. But in my mind I think, "your not but they need you to fill a spot until they get enough people and then they'll let you go." I don't know how to tell if I'm genuinely doing well or I'm holding a spot for someone more qualified. I've been in this role for one year. Due to some recent health findings I'll never be able to return to my previous role. I'm scared I'll be let go and then not be able to find employment that will pay my bills.
