Bio
As a social work student, I display professional behavior consistent with the NASW Code of Ethics. When volunteering at 7 cups, not only do I represent myself, but I represent the School of Social Work and every other student that will come after me. This is a major component of my social work education. 7 cups is where I get the opportunity to put into practice what I have been learning in my classes, but it is really the beginning of the shift from student to professional. in addition, where I get to have a connection with people who have experienced some of the challenges I may have or overcame.
