PTSD what to do after an episode?

...See more Hi guys, I’ve just had a PTSD episode and it lasted around 50 minutes. I’m not sure what the best plan going forward is. Do I stay at home or go out and see friends? I have a friend who is staging a comedy night.On one hand, I want to distract myself, but also feel it might be overwhelming for me and worried I’ll burst into tears.  On the other hand, I want to stay in and self-care, but also think that being alone by myself at home might make me overthink and may lead me to have another one.  Should I stay or should I go?
