...See more Context: I have severe c-ptsd among other diagnoses I have a long history of surviving many forms of abuse Leading to a complete breakdown after a particularly abusive relationship followed by losing my home & nearly everything I owned because my father who I was caring for stole all the money I had left so he could fly out of state to gamble & drink himself to death, literally. I am unfit for the workplace & I have no reliable family. But I have one trusted friend (closest thing I have to family) that took me in & has given me a room in exchange for care & cleaning service. I do almost all household tasks and cook daily for 6people & I have been doing so for about 2years now. Because I was given their guest room every time they have had a visitor I have been asked to sleep on the couch in the main area of the house, a request I'm more than happy&willing to oblige. I was recently asked to do so again for a the homeowners friend & her infant leaving an abusive situation. It was only supposed to be for a few days while she set up her own living arrangements. When a few weeks went by I remained understanding &tried to help her find support & assistance. But she was completely uninterested in any mention ofher independent living. Which I DO understand can be very intimidating, upsetting, or terrifying. She than seemed to use the pandemic shut downs as an excuse to avoid efforts further.
