...See more So this shooting doesn't feel shocking, but the police insisting it isn't a hate crime is bringing back all the stress from last year. Being told by my son's Principal that getting shoved and kicked in the halls and called "Carona" wasn't racist because most of the kids doing the beating were black was the low point. The anti-racist policies didn't apply to Asian students. I worry for my son going back to in person school this year. He's barely over a hundred pounds... I feel so impotent.
