...See more So my family has gone through lots in the past and I am always there to support them no matter what.. It can get quite draining because I don't feel like I get it back. However, I was sexually abused when I was younger and currently someone close to our family is kind of going through the same thing ( a young kid possibly be being curious says he didn't but is being accused (6years old) it's being looked at right now). My mom is saying I should call and give my support but I don't want to get involved because it still a little to close to my heart and I don't want to side with anyone because a) I know what the little girl is going through and b) if the guy is telling the truth than I don't want it to look like I wasn't there. I feel like I disappointments my mom by saying I don't want to be involved. What's everyone opinion?
