Been caught in a paradox of being intellectually hungry but depressed or burned out

...See more For some reason, a part of me suddenly wants to learn new things, study and be productive. But right when I am readily getting into it, any little mishap knocks me over and I lose my motivation or first conviction to follow through. It becomes too heavy or burdensome to carry through a long term process. Are there resources available to self-help whenever depression and burnout hits and makes your mind blank and stagnate and lose focus? This has been the worst struggle that has continually been getting in my way. I would seek for a therapist but I am currently broke 😅 one of the worst experiences that I can’t control is losing awareness of being able to ask for help. In an overwhelm, I can’t think at all, and instinctively isolate. If there is a preventative approach or methods out there, having those resources would be great.
