Shes unhappy and not changing her mind

...See more A week ago, my girlfriend broke up with me. Weve been together 6 years. We raise her son together, and weve lived together for 5 of the years. She ended it because she said she wasnt happy. Shes not happy as a person, and her unhappiness is making her into a bitter angry person. Shes not happy in a relationship with me, but doesnt hate me, thinks Im a wonderful person and deserve the very best but she cant give it to me. She says shes been unhappy for a year and a half. Let me explain that a year and a half ago, I was unfaithful. I kissed another girl. And my girlfriend found out about it. She ended things, but a month later and a lot of persuading, she said she forgave me and we got back together. Fast forward to now, she ended it saying shes been resentful since then, shes had Happy moments in the last year and half, we bought a house together in that time, but she is unhappy and she needs to end it for herself. She knows this is whats right for her. In the year and a half, she never discussed the cheating again. I didnt know she was this unhappy. We have normal issues like every couple. But I love her and she told me loved me too and wanted to be with me. Im crushed. Devastated. And I feel like I cannot cope. It doesnt make sense to me that you would throw away 6 years, and a great person. And not try to work on things. Ive asked many times, and she said its done. Shes not changing her mind. We are sill cohabitaing until we can make arrangements.
