...See more I don’t understand why I want to self harm when nothing is really wrong with my life. Has anyone felt this? I don’t know why I am doing this, or if I am just curious. Can anyone relate? I just feel like my life is too perfect and I feel bad for people who really do go through hard things and I am trying to figure out who I am and I am just so confused.

...See more Hello everyone. I don't know if this post belongs in Anxiety support or Self Harm recovery, but this is more about my brain than self harm, so I am here. First of all, I read a book with a trigger warning, thinking I would be fine. I was not. That book stirred up some thoughts I had been thinking about vaguely for a few years. After finishing the book I started to think deeper about them. I think my life is too good. I have a stable home and family, and I don't deserve it. It isn't fair to people with harder lives. I should struggle harder with my anxiety and depression. I am not entirely sure what I am thinking and feeling, it's all so muddled and tangled. Sorry if that didn't make any sense, but I was hoping someone could help me figure this out.  Thank you in advance.
