Bio
My name is Gerry and I am a fourth year at the University of California Irvine studying Psychology. I am also currently a crisis counselor for the Crisis Textline, an academic advisor for the School of Social Sciences at UCI, a Peer Health Educator who provides workshops and presentations on Alcohol and Other Drugs, and a Research Assistant for a Sleep and Cognition Lab. I seek to be a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor to provide therapy and treatment to individuals with psychological disorders. I have dealt with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, major depressive disorder, ADHD, stuttering, derealization, and cannabis addiction throughout my life. Topics of wellness I am particularly drawn to are assisting those with schizophrenia, depression, anxiety disorders, dissociative disorders, and existentialism.
