My name is Daphne Moodley. I am 28 years old. I am currently studying my Honors degree in Psychological Counselling at UNISA. My passion for Counselling started in my third year of studying my Bachelor's Degree in Education majoring in Psychology. I realised that I have a passion for helping people and the community as a whole. I am also currently working as a Veterinary Nutritional Advisor at a Vet store. From a young child I have volunteered and assisted the community in various charitable courses which made me content as a person that I can see someone else smile and this will in turn uplift the community. I also volunteered as a student teacher for 4 years and I worked with many young children with special needs as well as those who experience bullying, parent separation and divorce, violence, theft, alcohol and drug abuse. I noticed that the school do take this very seriously and intervention and support is provided by an experienced educational psychologist if need to be, with the consent of the parent. These past years that I have volunteered since 9 years old I have realised that this is my calling and if I can make a difference in the community I will reach for that goal. My hobbies include playing sport, watching movies and helping people and animals in the community. I wish to offer my help and assistance to people further in 7 cups support and make a difference in society.
