I am diagnosed DID. There are seven of us. I am very weirded out to be talking about this but at the same time want to reach out. I don't know.

...See more I was diagnosed with DID in 2004. I used to see a really nice therapist for years, but in 2009 the gov program that funded it stopped and so I was no longer able to see her. Really sucked, I haven't had anyone to really talk to about all of, me, since then. There are seven of us. I cope ok, I manage my life alright, I get by day to day. But it'd be nice to have someone to talk to, outside myself, that actually listens. My mom thinks it's all ***, even though she's bipolar and she's seen the diagnosis, *** she even talked to my therapist a few times back when I had one. My husband is Aspergers and has his own struggles. Neither of them are good at listening, or understanding. I'm not sure what I'm doing here. Reaching out I guess, for, something? I don't know. I'm trying to find another therapist that doesn't cost too much.
