I was born in the south and migrated with my family to the West in search of new opportunities in California. My family dynamic is diverse, I was always encouraged to be accepting of other culturally diverse people. I love to read, it takes me to another world instead of my own. I enjoy many genres of music including soul, instrumental jazz, '80's' pop, indie and mediation sound tracks. I have had to utilize these type of essential resources before so I know how important it is to have someone actively listen to you with no bias or ill-intent who can possibly give you positive insight on a particular situation. Sometimes, I just want to vent and know that I wont be judged or repeated. That is why I want to join the 7 cups team in providing emotional support to help others people with life and it unpredictable events. I am also seeking experience in social, non- profit area to accompany my certification as a Peer Support Specialist.
