...See more My own summary of the show: "A few cases of a mysterious virus start to appear around the world, the scientists are baffled and do not know anything about it. Meanwhile, American Navy Destroyer "Nathan James" is leaving the harbor with 200+ sailors on board to the arctic to perform a weapons test while being radio silent for 4 months. When it's time to go home, the ship tries to make contact with home, surprised to see that they can barely reach anyone and that a deadly pandemic has killed almost 80% of the population. Another surprise to the captain and the crew is when they discover that the doctor on board has been working on a vaccine since they left America and that was their real mission. Unable to reach anyone on land, the crew decides to stay at sea where it's safe to develop the cure, and their journey of rebuilding the world begins...."
