...See more I have struggled on and off with depression, self harm, and suicidal thoughts all my life but now it's even more crippling as I'm the mother of a two year old. I want to finally ask for help but I'm terrified that my baby will be taken away from me or I'll have to stay in the hospital for days or even weeks. She would be devastated. We don't have very close family. I'm all she really has. What would happen to her? I often wish I had just done it when I had the chance to. I can't bear the thought of even harming myself anymore. I don't want to have to explain more scars to her. I don't know what to do anymore.
