Struggling with my relationship

...See more I am in a 12 year relationship. Since two years we decided to try something new and opened to dating other people. It all went pretty well for my partner, and I was and am absolutely happy for them. But I start noticing that I find myself less and less "needed". As of lately I feel like I just observe life as it happens to others, but I don't experience it myself. And yes often I see a lot of drama and negative emotions, but I on the other hand don't feel anything but loneliness.
