Suffering from ptsd

...See more I have been suffering for 9 years. Nine years I have not known where to get help for ptsd. I tried once but was told I could loose my kids if I sought further help or needed meds. Is there more therapy for ptsd excerises to help control it? Are meds the only option. After last night I had a bad dream which led to me almost breaking down a glass window to look for him. He never left the house but in my dream I was convinced he had. My ptsd leaves me unable to sleep without nightmares. I can't afford to spend any money out of pocket for therapy right now. I'm curious to what I can do what has helped others. Last night scared me .

...See more I have been sober 5 years now. And recently started meetings in March of 2020. Lately since I have had my kids back in school at home and my mate playing video games all the time. And realizing how I feel like I scare people off . Is my biggest hurdle . I just feel like everyone hates me which has put me on a terrible head space. Feeling like there is no one but walls and pages to feel and a therapist is our if my budget and insurance won't cover it . So I feel like I'm still trudging my journey alone with no one.
