...See more So, my girlfriend and I had been together for about a year and a half. During that year and a half she's not only practically refused to "grow" with me. She always wanted to keep doing toxic, self destructive and self deprecating things. I tried really hard to help her but without much effort on her part and perhaps too much on mine, I soon became exhausted. I care deeply for her as a person but I didn't think I could help and support her the way she needed. I tried explaining myself but she somehow turned all the arguements around to make me the bad guy for feeling upset and dissatisfied. Sonetimes our arguments get so cluttered that I forget the original point I was making. It's a scary feeling to have to question this but.. am I just being crazy and cruel for breaking things off and asking her to move out?
