Bio

I'm a 60 year old American male and I grew up in Florida. I was a professional student so they say. I then was a Chemist for a few years and then I went into statistics and public health and worked at a University for 19 years. I have had a hard life I finally figured out I have had a strong case of ADHD my whole life. I have a daughter with 2 kids. I have a 3 months grand daughter and a 2 year old grand son. I am retiring and trying to learn to handle the ADHD better and recuperate from putting everything I had into working, I have no friends and am a bit estranged from my family. I hope to change that and enjoy my retirement. I am greatful to be here. Thank you for this service.

...See more I was on a support group zoom call and a lady said something about a therapist methods. Then another lady asked her to repeat what she said and I started to guide the first lady by repeating the main idea and the other lady said " wait lest her talk let her talk." And I went into a tailspin and I wanted to leave the meeting right away and apologize and say " sorry I hope I didn't cut anyone off." I didn't type that but I did leave right away and I am still fighting with self doubt and self pity and not feeling safe. I even feel like my cat is rejecting me. 😭I hate it, but I know if I except it and feel it and don't stuff it on it probably won't last as long and it won't make me depressed.
