I am a college student who has a passion for helping others. I decided to pursue a career in the healthcare industry after I traveled to Guatemala on a service trip to build a medical clinic because I truly saw for the first time the impact the medical field has on a community. I also have a passion for helping those suffering from alcohol abuse and am currently working on my thesis which is the effects that adolescent alcohol abuse has on the brain. I am the president of my sorority and I am passionate about using my actions to serve as an example to my sisters and using the upmost compassion when communicating when any of our members. I have held many roles in school such as being a Resident's Assistant, peer tutor, and supplemental instructor that I feel can help me act as an active listener for others.
