...See more Making friends can be really hard for me sometimes. My boyfriend says it’s just my personality and how I don’t engage or talk much, which makes people think I’m not interested in them. But I really want to connect with others and have people I can talk to, vent to, or share interests with. I want to be there for them too and maybe find someone to play video games with. It gets lonely sometimes, especially since my abusive ex made me stop talking to a lot of my friends. It’s tough to move past that, but I’m learning to rediscover myself and figure out who I want to be. I’m working on trusting and loving myself again.
