Setting boundaries and giving people space
Relationship Stress / by Hb1000

...See more So, I have moments in my life where I honestly suck at giving people the space they need. Especially when I've grown to like them so much. I tend to just want to talk to them 24/7. It doesn't help that we're in a pandemic and it seems as if all of this has made me even more possessive/ not being able to stop talking to ppl. It has also lead to paranoia. It doesn't help that during some weeks I get more paranoid and emotional because of pmsing. All of this has negatively effected my relationship with someone I cared about deeply. So much so that they had to block me. I don't want to repeat this behavior again and I don't want to hurt anyone else close to me, how can I stop this cycle and learn how to control my emotions better? How can I also learn to let people have their space when they need it?

Need suggestions with moving on from someone

...See more I recently met someone who I really like through tinder, but after trying to date I ended things as every time I wanted to meet up, he was busy or couldn't make it. The whole situation was confusing to me because he seemed super interested in me. During this period I cut contact with him and moved on. After a couple of months I find him on tinder again and we both swipe on each other and match. We try to work things out again but there were issues with both of us again, and they weren't major ones, but I felt like he wasn't putting in the same effort that I was. I end trying to date again (both times he asks to remain friends and both times I decline). However this second time I end things I decline the friend offer only to ask to be friends after. I feel as if I'm so indecisive about what to do and can't follow through with moving on. Something deep down inside hates the idea that he could move on easily and the words he told me were just lies. I do know I need to accept this though in order to bring my mind at peace. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do? (Also I think about this person a lot throughout the day and I enjoy talking to him a lot...)
