How can I help my father?

...See more Hi my name is Lakyn. Due to extreme stress and sleeping problems, my father has constantly consumed sleeping pills. This habit has occurred in the past everytime he was stressed. As a result of the pills, he became super energetic, impulsive. and reckless. For instance, he spent a lot of money on useless things and sometimes even take money from my mother, he also cleans excessively, and drives recklessly. I am currently in college and is supposed to go abroad for University next year. However, due to his problems, I am unsure wheter I should leave my mother or that we will be able to cover the expenses if his spending probloms does not change. I have suggested therapy multiple times but he refused to get help. So how can I help my father when he refuse to get help?
