...See more I have been in a relationship/ situationship with a friend for just over a year now. We moved to a new place together last year, but it has become more unhealthy as time progressed. I don't satusfy her wants and needs and she doesn't satisfy mine either, but we are still good friends. She doesn't want to take a step back so that we can consider more independence and forward thinking apart from oneanother. I think she'd be better off with someone that can love her and accept all of her instead of imposing as many boundaries as I do, and I would also like either to be single or pursue a healthier relationship after working on myself. Currently she is financially and emotionally dependent on me and breaking it off even slowly would be a dangerous decision, but staying in this situation is harming our connection and causing strain. I am open to reading suggestions as I don't want to rely on my own perspective alone 🌸
