...See more So I was dating this guy for a few weeks and things got to be too much with his life and we did not have the best communication. So I made the decision for us to break up even though we still have feelings for each other so he can focus on what he needs to focus on. He said he still only wants to be with me but he understands why I think we should break up. Only now I’m regretting that decision because I think if we just worked on our relationship a bit more then we could’ve made it work. Also a little backstory that’s important, he’s bipolar. When we broke up he said that it’s usually hard for him to make relationships work because of this. My question though is, if we got back together what could I do to better understand his illness? If we did get back together I would want to understand the way his mind works to the best of my ability so that we could make the relationship work. Because I really want to make the relationship work. We were falling in love with each other when we broke up and still have the same feelings for him now and I believe he does as well. Thank you in advance, I really appreciate any help anyone can give me.
