...See more My bf/ex and I were in a relationship for 5.5 years. Last month, he told me to reconsider our relationship because he felt that I deserve someone better. He told me he has considered all factors before coming into this conclusion. I reflected and realised that I have always been mean to him. I made him feel bad about himself. He felt that he will pull me down as i am more "successful" than him on papers. So I tried to be a better gf, but he said that he doesn't want me to change who I am. I tried my best to convince and reassure him that i will be happy with him. i went "crazy", cried and begged him to give us another chance but he said "no". He said he wants me to be happy. It has been 10 days since I last met him. I still text him every few days to remind him that I am waiting for him and i have not given up on us. He has not deleted our couple app as he read my messages. I know he has also not told anyone about the break up. We are going on a trip in 3 months with a mutual friend. Few days ago, he told me he doesn't mind me going since I have already paid for it when i asked. He then paid my share of cost in advance yesterday to the friend who booked an accom. However, he doesn't reply to my other texts and refuse to meet me. I am really confused what his actions above mean. What should I do?
