...See more Hi. My name is Jenny. And heres my situation. It's not that serious but it bothers me. My boyfriend quit smoking/vaping about a year ago. I quit smoking/vaping about 6 months ago. I'll be honest, I wasnt ready to quit. I loved to (at this time) vape. I carried that thing everywhere I went. It was my security blanket, the one thing that kept me sane. But my boyfriend was adamant about me quitting and made comments about how I needed to quit because he quit. I knew I needed to quit but really didnt want to. But I did it anyway. I quit in June 2019. These past 2 months, I have been craving cigarettes. I have no idea why. But the craving has been so great that I asked my boyfriends sister for a cigarette 2 weeks ago. And then I found myself buying a pack. i know relapses are normal and it might take a few tries to quit smoking for good. When my boyfriend found out, he was furious. I felt super bad so i told him I would stop. but i dont want to! not right now.. I know it's stupid but I'm a grown ass woman and I shouldnt be told that I cant go buy cigarettes. anyways, the question I have is: Is it wrong for my boyfriend to threaten to break up with me if i dont quit smoking right away? Keep in mind, I am respecting him by doing it outside; not in the house, not in my car, no where near him and making sure I wash my hands and contain the smoke smell. We've been together for 3 years..
