...See more Sorry Long post...please delete if not allowed. First time post here. My husband and I found out we were pregnant after thinking it would never happen at the age of 39. The pregnancy went well up to week 35. My blood pressure skyrocketed and ended up being in the hospital three days. I ended up having to have an emergency C-section. My LG came out healthy, only she weighed 4lb 12oz. The doctor let us go home two days later with BP in the 170s. That night I had terrible swelling in my feet and legs, so I went to bed with them propped up. Around 6 the following morning I couldnt breath and had to be rushed to the hospital with low oxygen. The OB there said I had post preeclampsia, but the cardiologist will tell me I have heart failure, which I dont. Went to the cardiologist and had an echo done, results came back normal and hearts pumping good. Then was weened off the heart meds. I still take 10mg of BP at the moment. But for some reason I have been having terrible anxiety the same time every day. I do not feel depressed or anything, just all of a sudden get short of breath, heart racing, hot flases and so on. Dr is putting me on some anxiety medication called Paxil. I was wondering if anyone else went through this and how you were able to over come it and how long it took. Really looking for good news.
