I'm a Psych graduate focused on mental health, motivation, anxiety, and other emotional stressors related to those mentioned.  I'll answer any question you have, and try to help you in anyway I can. My goal is to give the member a good time and where they can feel free and calm to say whatever they have in mind. I will contribute 45 minutes of my time so that you can express yourselves for a good amount of time without feeling rushed. I speak English and Spanish if language is a barrier. See you in chat box :)

Why we feel like the Center of Attention
Self-Esteem / by Jordii04

...See more Don't you sometimes feel like you are the center of attention for someone or some people, but not in a good way, rather in a way where they point fingers at you? They tell you what you are, what you are not, what you have to do, and what you are doing wrong. That center of attention that lives in our minds, thinking they tell us with looks and laughter, pointing directly at us. And I wonder, what are they looking at, right? Do they like me so much that they pay attention to me? Haha. It may not always be like that, but if it's the opposite, sometimes those attitudes can shape how we face our daily lives if we come to depend on those people who point us out. And that is exactly what can affect us in the future. What we become depends on what we listen to and how we present ourselves to the world. And I have an opinion about that. And it is, I don't care. I understand that society has rules and unwritten codes, both in terms of clothing and behavior on the street, or being polite to the person in front of you, etc. But if a person attacks us by criticizing us aggressively, we must make two decisions. One is to listen to them, take what they said, see if you consider it, if it helps you, and say: "Well, I could implement it to see what happens." And if none of what that person said is useful to you, then don't even let it cross half a centimeter of your precious brain to process that kind of information that is of no use to us. I don't have a fully formed theory or anything like that, but I like the concept that what we think and do is what defines and describes us as people. Both inside and outside our home. We are masters of our own decisions. And that includes our way of living and communicating. I feel that it's a good way to look at life in the face of the obstacles we have ahead of us. Tell me what you think. I like reading opinions. Sincerely, Jordi.

Managing self-esteem

...See more Have you ever felt like the world is pointing at you every time you leave your house? Feeling like a target and poster in your t-shirt that says laugh at me, look at me with contempt from top to bottom. This is the worst of the situations one can be, and to recognize it and say to yourself “hey, I need to do something with this, it’s overwhelming me” is the best thing one can do. And the change will come when you’re done having this symptom, thoughts, and feeling of prejudice. The change comes from you when start believing what you’re doing is correct for your future. You will fail during the process, a lot, fight against yourself. But at the end of the day, or the week you’ll understand that when the why is clear, the how is easy to think. Talk to me if you have this kind of problems. I’ll listen to you, understand what you’re going through, and help you get the objective you really want for your life and future. I’m jordi, it will be great listening to you at any time for 45 min each talk. I speak English and Spanish if language is a problem. See you on messages :)
