...See more Hi hi!! Recently I've been looking into binders, and I'd really like to purchase one. However, I'm unsure of how to go about it. My parents have no idea I'm non binary, and they aren't exactly supportive of LGBTQ+ people. I've got some options for what I could do. Ask my parents if I can buy a binder. Asking my parents is probably the best idea, even if they say no, I can still use the method I've got currently. However, my main concern comes with my parents asking questions about why I want to wear one. I might write down some responses I can give if my parents do ask anything, so as not to out myself. Buy a binder and hide it from my parents. This option could work, however I feel like it might not end well. My parents are probably going to notice at some point, and then they will most definitely ask questions. It would be hard to regularly wear and wash my binder without anybody noticing, and I don't really want to sneak around just to feel more comfortable as myself. Of course, I could always simply keep using the dual sports bra method, though the ones I have are really old and worn out at this point. My main concern is my parents asking questions, though its also likely that my Mom would just say "sure," and I'd be able to wear my binder without trying to hide it or anything. I'm unsure what the response will be, so I'm a bit cautious about asking. Thanks for listening!!!! -Mii

...See more I'm a female at birth, and I still wish to be a female, but I also would like to try using other pronouns as well, Mainly neopronouns. However, I feel as though I cant use other pronouns while still being a female. I'd still mostly use she/her, for convenience and also because I'm around a lot of Christian communites, but I think trying other pronouns would be fun! Also sidenote, but the other day I made a Pinterest account, and in the options for pronouns they had some common neos, and I was like "Oh my gosh they have neos!! Thats so awesome!" And I felt super seen even though I don't use neos currently.

I want to come out to people I trust, but Im still scared

...See more So, over time Ive figured out I'm bi. I didn't really surprise me too much when I figured it out, and looking back at my past actions and such its a wonder I didn't figure it out sooner. One of my main issues is with telling others, and how they will respond. I live in a Christian household, I'm homeschooled, all the events and things I go to are faith based, you get the idea. And I love being Christian! I don't want to stop being Christian. But theres so many conflicting voices and opinions about homosexuallity in the church, and it feels like some kind of forbidden taboo topic that we can't talk about, at least, when it is talked about it is ridiculed or downplayed as some kind of 'ultimate sin', that will send you to *** no matter what. And its crazy to me how many Christians seem to think that, because the whole point of Jesus Christ dying was to save ALL of us, every single person!  The thing is, I don't want to go through this alone. Theres so much more I could put in this post, but I really want to talk about it with some adults in my life that I know I can trust with confidential information. I'm so terrified at the idea of telling other Christians how I feel, because of the behavior Christians generally have towards LGBTQ+ people. The ladies I know have been very understanding, and are always super supportive, and don't judge me, but I still feel like some sort of irredeemable monster that cant be loved because of some feelings I have that I cant control. I know I'm not the only one who's been in this kind of situation, but since homosexuality is so taboo for some reason, it often gets pushed under the rug, buried so the uncomfortable-ness goes away and we can pretend there's no problems at all!!!!!!!!!  I just really don't want to feel like Im hiding from everyone anymore. Of anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it! Thanks for reading my exposition, hehe! -Just a mii
