...See more Hi all, I’ve just started dating a lovely nice man but since then, all I’ve had are different and distressing ROCD thoughts left right and centre such as; * Do I fancy him enough? * Will the relationship be healthy? (Recovered from sex addiction recently & had thoughts of me using him as a new addiction or being too clingy) * Do I fancy him too much? * Am I ready for a relationship? * Am I going into a relationship for a healthy reason? I’ve no idea how to control this anymore, but I’m continuing to date him to beat my OCD thoughts. But I have no idea how to cope with this. Any ideas?

...See more I was diagnosed and completed ERP with SO-OCD in 2021. I'm a gay man with the current intense fear l'm asexual. I'm also in the process of recovering from sex addiction and l've been taught to address all underlying issues. I was always seeking sex for validation and didn't enjoy it half the time, so l'm worried it makes me asexual and I used the compulsive behaviours to cover it up.... Or the attraction l've felt for guys was just the addrenaline of addiction? I've always wanted to be in love and I want to be able to give it sexually too. But this is really scaring me, and I don't want to be robbed of something I've always wanted. I just keep getting all these thoughts saying I don’t like sex and never liked it, as well as I never felt proper attraction
