Codependency issues

...See more Wasn't sure where I should put this, figured here would probably be the best despite this not being about a romantic relationship. Me and my sister, a year in age apart, have always been fairly close but around when I was eleven we began to get extremely attached and codependent towards each other due to some issues happening at home following a move. We were both raised in a cult and were the only people we had for support growing up and still now. As of now I'm eighteen and she's seventeen. Several issues have come from this and while I don't particularly mind I'm wondering if this is something I should do something about. She's extremely physically clingy, unable to sleep without me, and seems to almost get possessive or jealous. In the past she's broken down sobbing begging me to not go off and abandon her when I've been asked out, and has outright told people I'm not interested in dating them when I never said that. I for one get extremely paranoid, numb, and anxious without her and have a very difficult time having any kind of connection with others
