Hey there!

Thank you for stopping by my profile.

It's Amie.

Someone who loves listening to people, their stories, experiences and life in general.

As a listener, I believe healing starts when we get curious instead of critical. It begins with a gentle shift in the questions we ask ourselves.

Instead of ‘What's wrong with me?, we can gently ask, ‘What's making me feel this way?’

Rather than asking ‘Why am I like this?’, we can pause and wonder, ‘Why am I feeling this way right now?’ or ‘What do I need in this moment?’

Whether you want to explore where a feeling is coming from, understand what it's trying to tell you, or simply learn how to be a little kinder to yourself, I'm here with you.

And venting is always welcome, as long as we keep things respectful and within kind boundaries (no bad language, please).

Not here to judge, rush, or pressure. Here to sit with you, and listen closely. To remind you that nothing is wrong with you… perhaps something inside you just wants to be heard, understood, and held with care.

If that sounds like what you need, feel free to reach out. I'd be happy to listen.

Don't Lose the Little You🤍

...See more Ever since I started university, I hardly got the time to read my old journals. I was so busy that I didn’t even realize how fast life was passing by.. until yesterday, when out of nowhere, I decided to read my school journal. Reading it made me laugh, cry, and wonder at how much my little self is still alive somewhere inside me, and how much I’ve grown-up. My inner child usually shows up on weekends though, when I either watch cartoons or play with my nephew.. or when I mimic those weird, adorable little sounds he makes (I know I’m too grown-up for it, but with my nephew as the therapist, I prefer to call it ‘Sound Therapy’.. and trust me his sessions are surprisingly effective!!)❤️😭 So what I realized is that... watching children reminds us of the simplicity and innocence we once had. Responsibilities and the life's struggles may have made us adults on the outside, but deep inside... that playful, curious child is still there, waiting for tiny moments to pop out. Therefore, when I play with my nephew, it’s not just about making him happy , it’s about finding that little self inside me who looks at the world with curiosity, laughs at the silliest things, and remembers how to just be.🕊 I belief growing up teaches you how to survive life, but truly living it means letting your inner child roam free sometimes (but don't push it so far that your family starts eyeing the exit door😅). That little self in you… still sees wonder in everything, finds beauty in the smallest things, and reminds you that life is playful, curious, and full of joy.💫 So Hold On to Your Inner Child.. so that Life feels worth living and little less heavier🌸

The Beauty of Studying Psychology
General Support / by MeilleureAmie

...See more From thinking ‘mental health is a luxury’ ... to actually understanding it on a deeper level, I’ve come a long way. It makes me realize that.., just like how poetry makes you cry for the sufferings your heart goes through, studying psychology does the same, but for your brain. It makes you ache for the struggles your brain endures to protect you, and also for the pain it sometimes causes you itself. In short.., for me, studying psychology is fascinating.., terrifying.., and beautiful,... all at once. What's your take on psychology?

A very nice guy
Very kind and empathetic. A proper, real listener.
Listened, understood and didn't ridicule me for my strange habit.
She is truly exceptional, kind, compassionate, and incredibly understanding. From the moment we started talking, I felt heard and valued. She took the time to listen carefully to my struggles without judgment and offered thoughtful, practical guidance that really helped me work through them. Even with her busy schedule, she made me feel like a priority, and her warmth and empathy made the entire experience comforting and reassuring. She didn’t just talk to me, she helped me navigate my challenges and left me feeling lighter, more hopeful, and supported.
Super nice listener
