I have personal experience family with mental health struggles. My mother and late sister struggled with depression and my mother still does. I love my family and I want people to feel like they can tell me anything and not be invalidated or feel judged. Mental illness and other disabilities are are a part of a persons life but it doesn't define you. I want people to feel whole and accepted, at the very least by me.
