Pressured into engagement

...See more Hello all, recently ive been feeling that my boyfriend is pressuring me into getting engaged shortly (within 6-8 months). We've been dating 2.5 years and I love him and see a future with him. But I am not done school and won't be for a bit (Im going into graduate school and won't be done for anther 4 years. Marriage is really important to him and he tells me a lot about how he wants to celebrate our love and how the title "girlfriend" doesn't adequately describe our level of commitment or how much I mean to him. I might someday want to marry him. But right now I don't. I know that this isn't because of him, it's because of where I am in life. I'm not ready to take that step. I still feel like a kid most of the time and want to live away from my parents (I have been able to live at home while attending university for the past four years). I love him and don't want to hurt him or push him away. How do I help him feel like our label reflects us without being pushed into something I'm not ready for? For context, Im 21 going on 22.
