What to do now
Self-Harm Recovery / by PaigeG08

...See more I am 2years clean of self harm and never have thoughts of doing it again, but the scars will likely never go away. I’ve tried microneedling and topicals but nothing has helped. I’m just so tired of wearing long sleeves and lying all the time and I’m so scared people will find out that I have panic attacks. Plus, I’m a huge FFA member and can’t even run for office because I can’t wear short sleeves. I just hate it and I hate myself for doing it.

Depression Support / by PaigeG08

...See more I’ve been dealing with what I would describe as just a constant constant low mood for over 4 years now and I am only 16. I’m not the worst I’ve ever been right now but I think that’s partially because I’ve pulled back on basically everything I need to and enjoy doing including school. I used to be a straight A student and now have C’s and D’s. I’ve always been able to fine something to do even through it to get myself better, but I just can’t anymore. I win tons of competitions but it’s not enough and the ones I don’t win just have me feeling like a failure. But it’s not even that that bothers me, it’s that no matter what I do, walks, talking, journaling, nothing helps for more than an hour or two. I genuinely can’t do anything for myself and I never don’t have some sort of heavy feeling looming over me, even when I am truly happier than normal. I just feel both emotions separately if that makes sense. I can’t even call it depression because I am not diagnosed with anything. I know it wouldn’t change anything but I just feel like a private diagnoses would help me at least not feel so crazy and dramatic and alone.
