Is anyone afraid to not have depression?

...See more I know this may sound weird, but I'm afraid of not having depression anymore. I've had depression symptoms as long as I can remember, and because of that depression has completely defined my personality. I fear that if I get over this depressive state, I won't know who I am, and people will stop liking me. Does anyone else feel this way?
