My name is Ryan and I am a Senior student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am great at connecting with people through their struggles in life since I have had a few of my own. I grew up with ADHD and because of it I took Adderall. This medicine subsequently caused me to have a few episodes of seizures. Ever since those episodes, I have had to battle ADHD without using any medicine to combat it. On top of that, I struggled with PTSD from the seizures, never knowing when I may have another one. This forced me to shy away from any social activities because I didn't want to have a seizure in public. Subsequently I developed social anxiety, and gained a lot of weight from being inactive. It has been 6 years since my first seizure and I am now dealing with life much better. I would love to be able to talk with some people who might be tackling some of the same issues I did.
