...See more I have been having problems with my mother for the past year or two. She is not strict, but she tries to get into every crack of my life. Today was my breaking point. She called one of my friend's parents and told them that my friend smokes and drinks. She always does this kind of stuff, and ruins all of my relationships because she thinks I'm a victim. I've tried talking to her multiple times, but she never listens. I can't turn to professional help due to the state of the country I am in. She's been pushing my dads side of the family away and she calls them manipulators. She herself has went through childhood trauma and has only went to therapy for it a year ago. I'm not strictly looking for answers for the situation with my mom, I just need an opinion on how I should approach this problem with my friend when I talk to her about it, I want to stand up to her once and for all.
