...See more I just started speaking with a professional and one of my steps is to have a discussion with my family so they are aware of signs of my stuggle. When i started the conversation about having an eating disorder, my mother told me I was lying. She said I'm too large to have an eating disorder. Has anyone else experienced this? How do you recover when your main support system doesn't even believe you're sick?
