...See more Hi everyone,🌙 I’m currently working on a project focused on helping rural parents learn healthier parenting practices to reduce ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and increase PCEs (Positive Childhood Experiences). To make community sessions more engaging and comfortable, we use interactive games and activities instead of only formal discussions. These activities help: * parents and children bond better * parents understand concepts through experience and discussion * children feel more comfortable with the team * build communication and trust within groups Some examples of activities we already have are: * story building circle, where each person adds one line to a story * animal introduction game, where participants introduce themselves using their favourite animal sound * emoji emotion activity, where participants pick an emoji matching their feelings and explain why * perspective drawing activity, where parent and child complete different halves of the same drawing to understand differences in viewpoints * gratitude cards and appreciation activities We are currently developing a new module and need more simple, interactive, low-material games/activities similar to these, especially for: * parent-child bonding * emotional expression * communication * teamwork * helping parents understand concepts through activities rather than lectures Would really appreciate any ideas or suggestions.
