...See more HI I am new to this site altogether. I am new to being honest about my depression and anxiety. I have covered it up for so long. I finally heard about a doctor in my town who had suffered severely for years and so i went to him because I felt like I finally had someone who understood. I found out he was my same age and so he has been treating me with some different medications to try. So far not a lot has helped me. So I am 40 years old, single, always been very independent and live alone, having a full blown midlife crisis, and not sure how to be more hopeful of the future. The future terrifies me. As life progresses it seems so does life. More and more of my circle of loved ones age and pass away. It can get very overwhelming to say the least. So here I am.
