Help with IBD/Crohn's please!

...See more Hi, I'm hoping this is the right place to post this. I'm currently being tested for Crohn's disease. I've suffeted wit IBS for as long as I can remember but since January my pain has got so unbelievably intolerable. I'm currently suffering with severe right iliac fossa pain and inflammation of the large intestines... Woohoo!! 😭 ( that's sarcasm) I was wondering if anyone had any home remedies that the could recommend as i've found that most medication I'm in contains lactose ( which is a big trigger especially since I'm lactose intolerant!) i've tried hot water bottles but I now have erythema ab igne due to excessive use. I've tried ginger and herbal teas but they only seem to make me feel constipated and in more pain than I was prior to use. I feel like I'm running out of options and my doctor has said he can't do much until all my results are in and the general surgeon has been spoken to :(
