...See more I have stuggled with self-esteem my whole life and have never felt comfortable with how I look. I started going to therapy a couple months and my therapist has been really helping me with this. Today I took my first selfie in almost 10 years, I made it my profile picture even though I know most people don't do that here. I made it my profile picture because I want to be proud of what I look like and I dont want to hide anymore. I know I have my flaws but I am starting to see my strengths and be comfortable with who I am. I know it's just 1 picture but it is a big deal for me and I am proud to be taking this step, even if it is small. I don't know if anyone will care about this but I just wanted to share :) I hope everyone is happy and comfortable with who they are

Struggling in-between therapy sessions

...See more Hey everyone, ive been seeing a therapist for a couple months now and things are great when we are in our sessions. However, ive been really struggling in-between our sessions. I have no one to talk to at home and i feel real empty/ lonely when im not with my therapist. I see her for 1 hour a week and some weeks i can barely manage to get through. Im wondering if anyone else feels this way. Im also hoping to find friends through this site since i dont have any. Im hoping that talking to someone will make it easier to get through the week. So please feel free to reply if you relate to this or maybe you just want a friend to talk to.

...See more Hey everybody, i dont know if this is the right place but im trying to find people with similar interests as me. I have bad social anxiety so its really hard to find people. It seems as if no one has any common interests as me so i get really lonely sometimes and have no one to talk to. Some facts about me are im a 26 year old male and that i love music and chess. I like different types of music but my favorite band/ artist are Paramore and Marina and the Diamonds. Im also into video games and some sports. I know theres a lot more of myself that im forgetting but im not good at thinking on the spot. If you have any questions or want to talk about anything, please feel free to respond.
