...See more Hey, so I love my boyfriend and I’m a very attached person. For weeks he’s had no energy to try for us and has been a bit careless. Sure he’s shown it in small ways but it’s been the bare minimum (not even). I’ve always tried and tried. We started arguing so much and then one day i told him im not anymore until he starts. He basically admitted he doesn’t have the energy to and there’s a lot going on his life and gave himself pity. This really hurt me because he also mentioned he doesn’t want to hurt me so I could leave if I wanted. He was so willing to give up. But today he realized it might be too late and apologized and wanted to talk. He did admit what he did wrong and is committed to fixing himself and working on it and did sound genuine to some extent, but all of my friends are saying I should leave him. I feel in my heart I want to trust him again but it’s so hard, especially because he just now realized. What should I do?
