...See more Hello lovely 7cups fam, it's been 5 years since I last made a post. I thought I had found my way with my life for the better. Family wise? Yes I did. I married my then boyfriend, we still live together with my mentally disabled sister and we all get along swimmingly with the rest of my family.  Now my anxiety is in my working life. I've had nothing but customer service jobs ever since I've held a job at 19(I'm 29 now will be 30 in April). I recently job hopped twice within the past year. Hop 1 to get out of a toxic job that only relied on me and people taking advantage of my kindness, and hop 2 with my last job because I was starting to get the same vibes. Now I've been in my recent job for less than 3 months and I feel horrible. I work from home now, basically doing a call center job, its my first work from home job. Training was rushed, the job relies on a "fake it till you make it" mentality, your scoring is based very unfairly, and I'm losing sleep at night because now I feel I could lose my job at anytime even though I'm supposed to be in a grace period. This is the highest paid job I've ever had and while my family is proud I'm miserable. I don't mind hard work, but not at a job where you don't have reliable enough tools and resources to get better at the job. They don't take into account anyone with a form of disability, they just constantly ask "how are you going to better yourself?" That hasn't helped me at all since the beginning. There's no downtime at all during the day except for when all calls are cleared. But when our services go down on our end they still expect us to serve people? When we can only do so much without fully knowing the account? It's ridiculous and I've literally cried everyday in training because I don't understand a thing, I don't have much time to process what I'm missing out on during the day, they have specific times in the week but they're only 15 minutes which is stupid. I'm ready to leave as soon as I can, I just like to have a solid back plan when I do. I'm tired of hopping around but I'm also tired of being tired of work every single night. It's not the worst job I've had but definitely the most stress inducing.

I feel my anxiety choking me

...See more Hello all. I'm about to be 25 this week and as of yesterday i felt my anxiety just boil over in my life and I'm not sure what to do anymore. I'm currently in a situation where I can't talk to my family about it because they feel I'm just immature. I feel like I have a condition where I can summarize my feelings in writing but not with my actual voice. Over my life so far, I've always been bullied and mocked for having an unusually high pitched voice for my age. I feel like people will never take me seriously because of the tone in my voice. I don't want to change my voice but I always felt if my voice was deeper people would actually listen to me. The main reason I'm writing today is because I'm trying to balance my home life with my SO. This year will be 6 years. My family says they like him yet they don't want him doing anything at my family's house. He used to have his own house, but then he gave it up to live with me. It's been nearly a year, we help pay bills, clean and take care of my mentally disabled sister yet when i do something small like give him a piece of my closet to put this clothes in my family goes crazy yet won't say it to my face. It's to a point now we can't do much of anything at my house, and the anxiety of being abandoned by my family is taking hold of me (MY influence. Not my SO). My SO wants to move out yet I can't because of my sister and I'm not sure how she'll take it. But the house is basically empty since my mom passed away when I was 19. Any advice?
