Hi! I'm SsleepyHollow 🌙

Welcome to my profile.

Here, you'll find a safe space where you can share your thoughts, feelings, worries, and anything else that's on your mind without fear of judgment or pressure.

Life can be difficult at times. Stress, uncertainty, loneliness, and personal struggles are all part of being human. Sometimes, all we need is someone who will genuinely listen. If that's what you're looking for, I'm here for you.

While I am not a licensed therapist or mental health professional, I have personal experience and knowledge in the topics listed on my profile. We can talk about whatever is troubling you in a space built on confidentiality, compassion, understanding, and respect.

A Few Things I'd Like You to Know

Response Times & Availability

I usually prioritize people who have been waiting the longest in the listener queue and then take on additional conversations depending on my availability.

Due to occasional issues with the mobile app refreshing properly, there may be times when my replies take a few minutes. However, I always do my best to respond to every message.

If I need to drive or handle something urgent, I will let you know if my responses may be delayed.

My Usual Availability

I work full-time and have personal responsibilities outside of 7 Cups, so my usual availability is:

• Weekdays: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM or 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Weekends: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

These hours are only a general guideline, and we can often arrange a different time if needed.

Scheduled Chats

If we have arranged a specific time to talk, I would appreciate it if you could send me a message on the day of our appointment.

I don't want you to feel pressured or obligated. If you'd like to talk, simply message me and I'll be there.

If You See My Status...

🟢 If I appear online, feel free to message me anytime.

🟠 If I appear busy, you're still welcome to send a message, but I may not be able to reply immediately.

🔴If I appear offline, please don't hesitate to leave a message. I'll respond as soon as possible when I'm back online.

Mutual Respect

Kindness and respect are very important to me.

I will always do my best to treat you with patience, understanding, and respect, and I ask for the same in return.

If there is any insulting, abusive, or disrespectful behavior, I may end the conversation, block the user, or submit a report in order to maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Please remember that there is a real person behind this screen—someone with feelings, responsibilities, and a daily life, doing their best to help others.

How I Usually Work

I often use examples and analogies to help make thoughts, feelings, or situations easier to understand.

Sometimes I may suggest having a pen and paper nearby so we can organize your thoughts, emotions, or goals in a clearer and more structured way.

Before You Go...

I want you to remember something:

You matter.

You deserve to be here, just like everyone else.

Your feelings are important, even if they seem confusing, overwhelming, or difficult right now.

I will always do my best to listen.

And one last thought:

Nothing is truly lost; sometimes things simply change form.

Our thoughts are not always facts, and they do not define who we are. Each of us is doing the best we can with the experiences, resources, and circumstances we have at any given moment.

🌙 Be gentle with yourself.

...See more Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. I felt the need to share something with you that makes me feel good inside. It is certainly not something you haven’t heard before. Many times, the pace of life is so fast that we fail to notice the things around us, especially nature, which somehow always finds a way to appear, even through concrete sidewalks with just a small branch or sprout. So, quite often, I arrange to go for a walk with someone who makes me feel safe and calm—most of the time with my dog or my partner. We don’t go out to have serious conversations or engage in the usual everyday talk. We don’t go for coffee or food. Instead, we go somewhere outdoors, into nature—anywhere really—and that is where what I call “let’s go search for adventure… and maybe treasures” begins. When we were children and spent time outside, even something simple—an object that didn’t belong to nature, or something from nature we had never seen before, or simply something we found beautiful—would spark our curiosity and draw us in. That is exactly what I seek during these walks. Sometimes we simply find things people have left behind and wonder how they ended up there. Other times, we observe the activities of birds, follow the path of an insect, or simply watch the clouds pass by. We notice how the trees dance in the rustling wind, how the sun hides behind the clouds, how bees travel from flower to flower, the insects and species living on the ground, the cats and dogs around us, and the scent of flowers. At times, instead of nature, we find ourselves in a busy place. We observe people—the way they dress, whether they seem anxious, where they might be going, or where they are coming from. One day, I had an assignment at school to observe only people’s hands and what they were doing. And truly, almost reverently, I watched with deep fascination how some people held their supermarket bags tightly, while others loosely held their phones, kept their fists closed, or held hands with one another. Somehow, I could almost feel their stories and their worries. I would almost encourage everyone to take this kind of walk at least once—if not once a month—and become a little explorer. To leave themselves at home for a while and step outside as an observer, as an external presence. To become, for a little while, invisible to their problems and worries and instead focus on the world around them. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to be here with you. I am truly enjoying this journey I have begun, and I am always here for anything you may need. Have a beautiful day!

...See more A parent’s eyes are a child’s image of themselves and their emotions. Because babies do not have self-awareness in the way adults do, they reflect emotions and self-image through the expressions of their parents, and especially their mother. If the mother is anxious, sad, depressed, or angry, this can be passed on to the child. Of course, this is not an unforgivable mistake or solely the mother’s fault; however, it is very important at an early age to distinguish between personal emotions that may be conveyed to the child and how those emotions are managed. Otherwise, a child may grow up absorbing emotions and expressions like a sponge, developing intense empathy, becoming highly observant of others, and depending on the emotional patterns built so far, absorbing similar feelings. It is like a tower built from small pieces of paper—at the first gust of wind, it will collapse. That is why it is very important for parents to build a child’s confidence from an early age, sometimes allowing them to make mistakes always within safe and appropriate limits, but with a degree of freedom so that independence can develop, which is one of the most fundamental elements of self-confidence.
