Hi, I’m Shanna. I’m here because I know what it’s like to carry the weight of the world on your chest while smiling through it. Life has taken me through some beautiful highs—college, deep friendships, marriage, and motherhood—and some deeply personal lows, including anxiety, depression, and the silent struggles that often come with doing everything “right” on the outside.

I’ve always believed in the power of connection, creativity, and conversation. Sometimes we just need someone to truly listen without judgment, advice, or a solution—just a real, compassionate presence. That’s what I hope to offer here.

Whether you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or just need a safe space to let it out, I’m here. You’re not alone. Your story matters. And no matter where you are on your path, healing is possible—even if it looks messy or nonlinear.

...See more I fell hard in my twenties for the guy who was the life of the party. He was fearless, magnetic, and the person everyone wanted by their side. He could light up a room just by walking into it—and honestly, I loved that about him. We were young, wild, and full of big dreams. We stayed up too late, drank too much, and laughed louder than anyone else. But that was then. Now, two decades later, I watch him stumble through karaoke, drunk and loud at family gatherings, and all I can feel is secondhand embarrassment. What once felt electric now feels immature. I’ve changed. I’ve grown. That behavior doesn’t match the woman I am anymore—and it hasn’t for a while. Does that make me wrong for changing? Or is he stuck in the same version of himself that he never outgrew, some sort of arrested development. The truth is, change is everywhere. It’s part of everything we do. From the music we blast in the car to the people we admire, the foods we crave, the causes we support—everything evolves. And that’s not just normal—it’s healthy. Growth is how we stay connected to who we are. Staying the same for years might sound stable or loyal, but it can quietly lead to disconnection, dissatisfaction, even a kind of invisible suffering. If we’re not changing, we’re not really living.

...See more Friends and family — they’re our safe place, right? The ones we lean on. The ones who love us without conditions, want the best for us, and aren’t afraid to call us out when we need it. If you’re lucky, they’re the people who let you unravel in front of them without flinching — and even help you pick up the pieces. But here’s the complicated truth about anxiety: it’s messy, layered, and wears different faces. So when you let someone in — when you open the door and show them what’s going on inside your head — you’re not just sharing, you’re also absorbing. Their thoughts, their reactions, their energy. Their “personalities” start taking up space in your mind too. And yes, talking helps. But the million-dollar question is: Where do you draw the line between healing through connection… and losing yourself in it?
