I'm addicted to Netflix and love to read. I also love to bake in my free time. I am a PhD student recently diagnosed with social anxiety, OCD, and now ADHD.

...See more I've always been a "worrier", about anything and everything. Would my mom live long enough to be a grandma? Will I make it to the city on the metro? Will my boyfriend make it to work safely? Will I have enough money to be able to make ends meet? Will I fail out of school? Am I good enough? Will people like me? I've canceled on people last minute because I just couldn't handle it, especially when it was to go somewhere where I didn't know anyone there. What would they think of the quiet girl in the corner who could barely make eye contact? Terrified of what people would think, terrified to make small talk, I'd just stay home. Finally, a doctor told me it wasn't "normal" to feel this way all the time. It wasn't normal for my stomach to always be in knots and for my back and neck to always be tight. It wasn't normal to get a migraine at least once a week, if not more. I'm finally getting treatment so I can enjoy life more, but it seems hopeless that it will get better. They have yet to find the right meds, and they've yet to do anything but make my stomach worse or skyrocket the anxiety. When will it get better?
